The Details page within the Content Editor allows users to manage several key aspects of their content.
These updates auto-save and are immediately live to any users who have access to the content.
Title
The title of the content is displayed throughout the site to help users reference your content (depending on the Privacy level). If the content is designated as "Public" the title is one of the key items used in the global search to help users find your content.
Description
The description is displayed on the Content Details page and can be used to describe your content as well as advise users on any specific instruction or details to help them as they go through it.
Privacy
The privacy settings control the level of accessibility for your content. There are two different privacy levels available.
- Private
- This is the default setting for your created content, which means that it can only be viewed by you, any collaborators you've invited, and any users that that you've assigned the content to for completion. In this state, the content is not available in the Global search from the "Browse" tab and the Owner for the account cannot add this to your account's Custom Library.
- Public
- In this state, your content can now be viewed by anyone in your Account; this does not make it available to users outside of your account. Your content will now appear in the Global search results if relevant and the Owner of your account can add this to your account's Custom library.
For public content, there is an addition setting available to you (and your collaborators) that allows you to track all of the responses for any users that complete the content outside of a direct assignment. Note: This option must be turned on prior to users starting the content for you to gain access to their responses.
When this option is turned on, the user will see an informational tagline indicating that their responses are being publicly tracked so that they are aware; once they submit their responses, you and your collaborators will gain access to them. Note: Responses from direct assignments will not be made available to anyone but the Assigner; the user must choose the option to start the content on their own.
Keywords
Keywords can be used as labels for your content to help highlight different aspects of it's subject matter. These keywords are also used as part of the search algorithm and can be a powerful way to make your content more accessible to your users.
Cover image
The cover image for your content is what is displayed throughout the site as users browse content and can be updated at any point.
Collaborators
Collaborators are other users within your account that you grant edit-level access to for your content; they possess the same edit capabilities as the creator except for the ability to delete the content. They must be at the Owner or Admin permission level to be eligible to become collaborators. You can use the search bar field to search for individuals to invite as collaborators on your content.
